🚗 A Family Update – Trusting God for the Right Car

Dear friends and partners,
We wanted to take a moment to share an exciting (and slightly urgent) update with you all.

As many of you know, our current vehicle has been on its last legs—and after much prayer, counsel, and research, we’ve decided to move forward in faith to purchase a second-hand Toyota RAV4 hybrid. This car fits our family’s needs perfectly, and we’ve set an estimated budget of €25,000.
🎉 The amazing news?
€10,000 has already come in! Glory to God! We’re incredibly thankful to those who’ve already stood with us—your generosity means so much.
This has actually been my dream car since I was 14 years old when I first rode in a friend’s red sporty version. Over the years, my style (and the car!) have both matured, but the RAV4 keeps resurfacing in our hearts as the right fit for our ministry and family life.
We’ve had offers and suggestions from others—like the Dacia Bigster—but after speaking with knowledgeable friends (who thankfully know much more about cars than we do!), the advice was clear: the Bigster is too new on the market, especially for a hybrid. So we’re sticking with the solid, reliable Toyota route.
Why the urgency?
We really do need the vehicle by July 6th, as we’re scheduled to travel across France and into Switzerland for both ministry and to visit family. If we don’t have the car by then, we’ll need to rent—first for that trip, and again just a few weeks later for our summer travels starting August 4th. And as you can imagine, rental costs would add up quickly.
🙏 We’re believing to pay as much upfront as possible, avoiding a long-term monthly financial burden. Would you stand in agreement with us for the remaining provision?
We know that God is faithful, and your prayers, encouragement, and support are such a vital part of this journey. Please continue to stand with us as we take these steps—trusting for the right car, at the right price, at just the right time.
With love and gratitude,
Rebecca (for the Boulanger family) 💛
