A Season of Wise Steps and God-Given Momentum

As we step into this new season of our lives, one phrase keeps coming back to us: intentional momentum.

There is a deep sense that God is inviting us to walk with wisdom—to plan carefully, to take things slowly, and yet not to miss the very real movement of His Spirit among us. It’s a season where we’re learning that pace doesn’t cancel momentum. In fact, when the Lord leads, both can exist beautifully side by side.
At church, the momentum is undeniable. Our services are full—full of God, full of His presence, and full of people who are genuinely hungry for more of Him. There’s a holy expectancy in the room, a simplicity and sincerity in worship, and a deep joy in seeing lives touched week after week. We’ve also just launched a brand-new church app, which feels like a significant step forward—helping us stay connected, build community, and steward well what God is doing among us.
At home, life feels steady and sweet. The kids are doing really well and are currently enjoying their winter break. We’ve chosen to stay close this season—soaking up time with friends and family, enjoying quieter rhythms, and making the most of the snow up in the mountains. These simple moments feel like gifts, grounding us and reminding us of what truly matters.
At the same time, we’re actively believing God for a new family car 🚙. Our current one has served us faithfully, but this next step feels both practical and symbolic of what God is preparing. We’ve narrowed it down to two models that would truly fit our family’s needs and expectations for a newer, more reliable vehicle, and we’re trusting Him to provide in His perfect timing.
All in all, this season feels marked by wisdom, faith, and gratitude. We’re moving forward—thoughtfully, prayerfully, and with confidence that God is leading every step. Thank you for walking this journey with us, for praying, believing, and celebrating all that God is doing.
We’re expectant for what’s ahead.
