New family car

Dear Friends, Family, and Partners in Ministry,

We hope this message finds you well! We’ve settled into our new home wonderfully, and the children have adjusted well. Our three little ones have started school and pre-kindergarten, and they absolutely love their new school and surroundings. I recently finished organising a women’s conference, which was a great success, and the church is thriving in this season. We feel incredibly blessed with how everything is coming together.

We are writing to share an update regarding a need that has arisen for our family. Our current family car, which is over 20 years old, has served us faithfully, but it’s now reaching the end of its journey. With more than 230,000 km (142,000 miles) on the odometer and costly repairs ahead, it would cost more to fix than it’s worth. On top of that, our second car is a small two-seater with minimal space, which makes it difficult to manage daily family life and ministry needs.

After seeking the Lord and carefully considering our options, we’ve set our hearts on a second-hand hybrid Toyota Rav4. This vehicle would allow us to save on gas while providing enough room for our family and the guest ministers we have the joy of hosting. Just two weeks ago, Rebecca had an unexpected opportunity to test drive one, and we feel this is the right direction for us.

The budget for this car is $28,000, and we are trusting God for His provision and timing. As the work of sharing the Good News continues to expand, we realize the importance of having a reliable and safe family vehicle for our travels.

We humbly ask if you would prayerfully consider partnering with us in this unexpected need. We’ve been slow to ask for help, but as ministry accelerates, we feel led to reach out with this opportunity to undergird the ministry and our family in this way. Your support, whether through prayer or provision, would be a tremendous blessing in this season of ministry.
